Well… this is hardly surprising. Seri terakhir dari The Twilight Saga, The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2 (2012), akhirnya mendapatkan kesempatan untuk memenangkan kategori utama, Worst Picture, di ajang Razzie Awards setelah beberapa kali dinominasikan pada seri-seri sebelumnya. The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2 berhasil memenangkan tujuh kategori dari sepuluh nominasi yang diraihnya pada The 33rd Annual Razzie Awards, termasuk untuk Worst Actress (Kristen Stewart – juga untuk penampilannya dalam Snow White and the Huntsman, 2012), Worst Supporting Actor (Taylor Lautner), Worst Director (Bill Condon) serta Worst Screen Ensemble.

Dua nama dari barisan pemeran yang masih dapat tersenyum dari ajang Razzie Awards? Robert Pattinson dan Ashley Greene. Razzie ternyata menilai penampilan Pattinson masih tidak terlalu buruk jika dibandingkan dengan pemenang kategori Worst Actor, aktor kesayangan ajang penghargaan ini, Adam Sandler, dalam filmnya That’s My Boy (2012), yang juga berhasil memenangkan kategori Worst Screenplay. Sementara itu, Greene berhasil menghindarkan dirinya dari kemenangan di kategori Worst Supporting Actress dengan merelakan kategori tersebut jatuh ke tangan Rihanna untuk penampilannya – yang sangat terbatas – dalam Battleship (2012).
